ABOUT THE ARTIST: Alexandra Jamieson is an NYC-based multimedia artist whose art has earned acclaim for a blend of natural, urban, and historical elements. A third-generation self-taught artist, her Abortion Trading Cards series imagines a dystopian future where women secretly trade information about reproductive care using a hand-altered playing card deck. Having worked in watercolor, altered books, and denim, Alex's work has been featured in galleries and exhibitions across the US. She is a best-selling author of five books, including Radical Alignment, and was the co-creator and co-star of the Oscar-nominated documentary Super Size Me.
